This policy explains how Pit AI handles information when you visit our website, join early access, or use the Pit AI application.
Information we collect
Depending on the features you use, we may collect contact and account information; vehicle, component, maintenance, setup, track, and session records; lap-time or timing-and-scoring data; driver preferences; conversations with the racing engineer; and technical information such as device type, browser, IP address, and service logs.
How we use information
We use information to provide and improve Pit AI, personalize recommendations for each racer and vehicle, maintain accounts and records, respond to requests, protect the service, communicate product updates when requested, and meet legal obligations.
How information is shared
We may share information with service providers that help us host, secure, analyze, communicate, and operate Pit AI; with timing-and-scoring services when you request an integration; when required by law; or as part of a business transaction. We do not sell personal information for money.
AI and racing-engineer conversations
Information you submit to the racing engineer may be processed by technology providers that help generate recommendations. Do not include passwords, payment-card details, or other sensitive information in a conversation.
Retention and security
We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including account history, safety, dispute resolution, and legal requirements. We use reasonable safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You may unsubscribe from marketing messages at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information, or object to certain uses. Contact us to submit a request; we may need to verify your identity.
Children
Pit AI is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can review and remove it.
